Hmm.... Reading through this, my mind was up the whole time, like I literally held my breath and I don't know why or is this when they say, it took my breath away? Probably 🤷♀️.
It has always been a cause of worry as to why do the poor keeps getting poorer and the rich keeps getting richer and the answer has always been obvious but the problem is, we don't like learning or should I say, we don't like applying what we Learn.
The thing is, the poor keeps getting poorer because they don't want to accept the fact that they are poor (mind you not all) so this makes them want to always try to live above themselves. The poor have so much pride, they easily get irritated when they are around rich people. Instead for them to look for a way to learn from them, they end up finding fault with everything they do.
The poor loves comparing themselves with others especially those that are higher than them and this makes them feel inferior and worthless, they will start thinking they are good for nothing but they fail to realize that they are their own unique person. A man once told his student, why are you trying to be like someone? We don't need you to be like Elon Musk, we already have Elon Musk, we need you to be you, because that is what the world is lacking.
These words were little but after I thought of it deeply, I just learn to appreciate me for me, I don't care if someone is doing something better than me, as long as I'm putting in effort, I will not feel bad about it. Like you once said a story of two trees that were planted the same day, one grew really fast while the other was growing but it was not obvious, well that's how it is too with those that are struggling to be successful.
Maybe at some point even the tree itself that it's growth was not obvious will want to give up because the sunlight will be insufficient since it will be looking at the one that has grown very tall and has covered the sun from reaching it but until it bends (that is, leaves it's comfort zone) it will keep dying until it finally gives up.
The earlier the tree looks beyond that next growing tree and see the little ray of sunlight that's pointing at it through the leaves of the growing tree, the better for it.
Once again, my mentor has made me understand more through his beautiful and thoughtful write up, the last analysis I gave was about the tree was what I got while I read this post, I just understood that story better. Thank you for always sharing your thoughts with us, they are always educative.
I really apologize for replying late. You don't know how much I have on my plate. I was going through some of my old posts to figure out I skipped this entirely.
You have given good analysis and made more contributions to what I have written.
Yeah, everyone has their own time of success and the longer it takes might mean that something greater is coming.
You cannot compare the time it takes for a dog to give birth to the time it takes an elephant. The dog might feel more successful than the elephant in giving birth first but the earth would feel that of the elephant more when it finally gives birth to its success.
I understand, it's fine you came that's what matters.
Indeed we all have to know that everyone has their own time, we just have to be patient with ourselves sometimes. As long as we moving we will surely get to our destination.
