Earlier today I took the bullet and paid a few large transaction fees. I traded most of my ETH for HIVE and traded most of that HIVE for LEO. I could have done this almost two weeks ago but I waited and now seemed like a good time to act. The fees were slightly less than the end of March so I saved a little bit through patience.
I've been keeping an eye on LEO. LEO has been low in price for around two weeks and I wanted to get as much LEO as I could before the price went back up again. For all I know this might have been my last chance to get LEO as low as 1.4 HIVE each. If and when the price of LEO goes up that should cover the loss from high ether gas fees.
Before all of my trading today I had 270 LEO which was all staked. Now I have an additional 350 staked LEO I bought for almost 500 HIVE. I could have gotten an additional 50 LEO but I set some HIVE aside to cover the rest of the Hive Power Up Days in 2021.

Wow nice job waiting on gas fees. That definitely a decent amount of LEO and I guess the delegation trade between you and mvl has probably ended. Is your goal for HP still going well?

@mvl2304 has some things to take care of but the door is open for another future delegation swap when the user is ready.
The 5000 HP goal is going well. I set aside 80 HIVE today to cover the remaining 8 Hive Power Up Days for 2021. Even when not counting the HP I have delegated to @curangel I now have to average a little less than a 1 HP increase each day to have 5000 HP by the end of the year.

That's a good idea. There are more new users being onboarded to the platform. I could write a beginner's guide and maybe break it into three or four parts. It will take me a little while to get to that because I have other posts in the queue. Here is a quick outline of staking LEO and HIVE.
LEO can be staked by signing in to hive-engine.com and clicking on the locked padlock icon.
