Why do I prefer Hive Blockchain for my blog Post-to-Earn, and my writing in general?

in LeoFinanceyesterday

I am in the right mood to ramble about one of my favourite blockchain projects, the second most profitable out of hundreds of crypto platforms and projects that I tested relentlessly since 2013.

Well, the answer is quite obvious. On average, I received x52 times (5200%) more tips on my Hive-related writing than on other publishing platforms, such as Publish0x and Grill blog, with a similar number of posts on each platform.

Now, that the hook was activated, let's go into the statistics and fancy numbers. I have 240 followers on Hive, compared with more than 1000 on Publish0x and 26 on Grill. Yet, more than x50 times in crypto rewards, month after month, made Hive one of the three projects that can potentially return my wages equivalent, consistently, letting me achieve financial freedom in the next 5, maybe 7 years. I mean, I got these 3 projects with some doable targets, each of them potentially returning enough monthly to receive three times my actual wage, to enjoy a delectable early retirement. (I am not secretive, one is Hive - link here, one is Across protocol as liquidity provider - link here, and the third is a portfolio of shares bringing dividends, focused on the UK mostly - link here).

But then, back to Hive, and why is everything here superior to the other alternatives. Well, first of all, even if Hive is mainly seen as a blog-2-earn platform, it is, in fact, a complex ecosystem, with account creation tools, block explorers, bots, exchanges, gambling, games, a great number of interfaces - some of them highly specialized, programming tools, wallets, even witness tools and monitors to increase your efficiency, see the full list here.

If you are looking for a profitable way to create a decent crypto portfolio with no other costs except your time (yeah, you can realize your dreams, but you may need to put in some work if you want this to happen), I want you to have a look, and see the potential. I will guide you step by step, at least on the starting process, providing you with some directions so you can advance quickly from beginner to average user.

If you are here to write and get rewarded for that, the main starting place is hive.blog, and you need to create an account first (see the link from the start of this post). Then, you can either post there or look for a specialized interface, targeting your area of expertise. Let me list some of my favourite interfaces:

As you can see, there are many options (in fact, more than 150.000 communities related to anything you can imagine), and as you learn more about it, you may find some that will become your favourites. As we are here, let's talk about tags. At the end of every post, you have a little box where you can put at least 5 tags, on the main blog, or even more in other communities. The tags will add your blog post to the selected communities, so by using #splinterlands, you will publish in the Splinterlands-related community, if you use #photo, you may publish in the Photography community, using HiveUk, you will publish in a community of Hive users living in the UK, and so on. There are many tags, and if I need to make a list of my favourites, I may say, in a random order: #hiveuk #saturdaysavers #scholarandscribe #blockchainpoets #bee #bbh #gems #palnet # alive #archon #proofofbrain and #leofinance. There are hobby-related communities, country-related communities, and much more. Just check these slightly old statistics(courtesy of @blocktrades).

Writing is not the only way to create value on Hive blockchain. A fun way to do it is to play one of the many Play2Earn blockchain games on Hive. These are some of them that I enjoy playing:

Splinterlands- Hearthstone-like card game

Golem Overlord - Play2Earn game on Hive

Holozing - Pokemon-like game

Rising Star - Music creators' game

Of course, there are many other games, but my time is limited, and I don't have enough to check them all, even if I want to. You are not a gamer, do not worry, there are many other ways to get rewarded. One easy way is to stake (the process is called power-up on Hive) the tokens you received on your blog posts, and the APY is, if I am not mistaken, 4% for Hive and 15% for Hive stablecoin - HBD. There are loads of other tokens, that you can stake using Hive-exchange, or, if you are more adventurous, you can provide liquidity on Tribaldex, on one of its many campaigns.

You have different projects that drip on you daily, or weekly, if you buy their tokens, using the funds to further generate more profit (BRO, ESDI, BBHO). There are tipping tokens, which you can use to tip others, the most used right now among my friends being BBH, ALIVE and SLOTH. Some tokens increase in value slowly, making them ideal for a long hold. But this doesn't mean that you can be careless, as we are still in a crypto market, swinging wildly in a similar pattern to Bitcoin, mostly. And then, I would say that 8-9 out of 10 projects slowly fade away, even if they show great potential when they start. But, that being said, you have plenty of opportunities here on Hive Blockchain to generate a decent amount of crypto, and compounding it will create regular income, given enough time. Some people like to stake it for the long-term, increasing the principal again and again, others just use the monthly profit to survive in countries like India or Venezuela. You may choose the middle way, or not, this depends on each person's circumstances. We do have our own Hive maximalists here too.

And with this, I got a bit tired, and I will try to get a good night's sleep for now. If you are interested, my advice is to check the links and do a bit of your own research.

Note: Some of the links, especially the games, are referral links, feel free to use them or not, as you wish.

This is all for today!

All the best,

George

Why not...

...have fun and win rewards on my favourite blockchain games (Splinterlands- Hearthstone-like card game) (Golem Overlord - Play2Earn game on Hive) (Upland - real-life virtual land) (Holozing - Pokemon-like game)and (Rising Star - Music creators game).

...get crypto while writing on Publish0x blog, using Presearch search engine to maximize your income with PRE tokens. Use Torum instead of Twitter. I am also writing for crypto on Grill and Hive.

Today you have shared very important information about hive blockchain which I really enjoyed reading.

"Why do I prefer Hive Blockchain for my blog"

i must say it was actually the stile of Hive vs all the other social networks, especially in 2018 when i joined. As a bit of a boomer :) when it comes to internet, i had most of my fun on internet on mIRC and forums. And Hive at the time had an forum type of a feel from the community side of the things. It was more personal and more truly engaging than other social networks.

mIRC, oh, the memories. ASL PLS?
