COTI V2 upgrade is HERE - Link your MetaMask address to your VIPER wallet...

COTI v2 Upgrade & What one need to know about it. In this post, I will be walking you through the process of linking your MetaMask wallet. So here we go.. As soon as you login to your Viper Wallet and click on the "Treasury" you will see this - "UPGRADE NOTICE" which says the following COTI V2 is coming and it's time to prepare and so forth...The #COTI team recently made an announcement in their discord channel about the COTI V2 upgrade where folks need to link their MetaMask wallet address to their Viper wallet. COTI V2 is coming, and it’s time to prepare. Simply link your VIPER wallet address to your MetaMask account to ensure a seamless transition as we upgrade to COTI V2 Mainnet.

The Next step is to click the link "Link MetaMask Wallet" and the following screen pops up and there is note which says that the linked address can be modified up until Treasury launch over Mainnet V2.

Check on your Viper Wallet Address and then click on the Connect MetaMask button. There is also an FAQ and Demo Video hyper links available which one can refer to at any point in time.

Once you have connected with your MetaMask wallet the next step is to confirm the signature and here is how the screen would look like for the Signature request to be confirmed. There you will notice the Request is from - pay.coti.io. So please be carefully before confirming and double check the Request from shows the right address or the URL

After confirming the request the user is redirected back to the Viper Wallet to confirm their MetaMask Wallet Address ideally the ETH address and if that looks good to you then click on the button "Confirm Linked Account"

Once confirmed following is the screen that pops up saying - "Metamask Wallet Successfully Linked". The best part is that you can view your MetaMask Wallet info on the settings section and at any point in time you can also edit the address just incase you want to link any other ETH address up to you to decided before the window to linking the address is closed you can do so.

And a final note before I end this post is around the ERC20 tokens of #coti. One need not do anything if you have the ERC20 tokens and for the liquid tokens on the Viper Wallet there would be a bridge to get them migrated. Things are moving fast here at COTI so stay tuned for more updates on the COTI V2 upgrade. There still time to buy in some #coti and #gcoti tokens before its too late.
