Well, Hive is decentralised, so different options to sign in is good. i use Hivesigner or Hive Keychain. These do not expose your Hive keys online so much more secure. Instead you use a password for Hivesigner or Hive Keychain.

Also i see you have c. 3000 liquid HIVE (congrats on buying them - good move!). You might consider powering up your HIVE (to HP - ie. Hive Power) so you can earn approx. 3% APR, and receive rewards of c. 8% for voting. You can follow someone elses voting trail (mine if you like) if you don't have time to use your Voting Power each day (or delegate your HP to an account which will share the rewards with you which they will earn by voting with your HP.
i do a mixture of both, delegating mostly to leo.voter & receiving LEO tokens at 16% APR. i then power up the LEO rewards and delegate them for more LEO rewards.
