so ... let me get this straight... you say... turn off your TVs... and then suggest a video we should watch?

Bit contradicting?

Such is life my friend.

I don't even have a TV :P

I have had not had one in 12 years. Now I moved my mother in to care for her and the 1st thing we had to buy was a TV. It is worse now then when I owned one. Goebels warned us about the big lies and now the world is hypnotized.

Can you give me a source for Jacob's name meaning, please?

The original name Jacob comes from the Hebrew name Ya'akov (יַעֲקֹב), which has its roots in the Hebrew word ʿaqev (עָקֵב) meaning "heel" or "to follow."

The name is often interpreted as "he who supplants" or "he who follows on the heel" because, in the Biblical story, Jacob was born holding the heel of his twin brother Esau (Genesis 25:26). This act symbolized his later actions in supplanting Esau as the firstborn, both in terms of inheritance and blessings.

Your definition given is supplant, which means to supersede (another) especially by force or treachery. Treachery is behavior that deceives or is not loyal to someone who trusts you.

Oh... That's... interesting.

So, this was very different from the "Jacob" I knew, so I did a small research on the Islamic Narrative (which I grew up with) and compared it with the Christian Narrative (which I just quick-searched up,) and wow~ totally different stories!

Islamics come from Abraham and Jesus is clear he is before Abraham when questioned by the pharisees. I am curious, who does the Quran say is God's son as mentioned in Proverbs 30 3-4?

Can you give me the Quranic text you're mentioning, just so we're on the same page?

I cannot, as I do not read or speak Arabic.

I thought you were referring to an English translation of the Quran, but I realized now that "Proverbs 30" is referring to the Bible.

No problem~

The Qur'an in Arabic is 100% consistent with itself in that God has no Son.

Then the Bible Old and New Testament are considered to be lies or is it something else?

The Bible, Old Testament and New Testament are considered corrupted in Islam.

We believe that there was an original message. Good people practiced it. That Satan has tempted people to change it over time. Then Muhammad (peace be upon him) brought the Qur'an which claims to be the original message, and it claims to stay free from corruption.

I won't debate you if that's true or not, nor I'll debate you whether the Qur'an is "preserved" as we claim or not. Just what we believe.
