RE: Public Databases on Hive and Data Scarcity

in LeoFinance2 months ago

Thanks, @gadrian! HiveFest really does have a special vibe—it’s a place where you can feel the energy and excitement about what’s being built on Hive. Presenting something fully operational to such an engaged audience is always a privilege. People at HiveFest aren’t just listening—they’re curious and ready to dive into the details, which makes sharing new projects even more rewarding.

And you’re spot on—there are so many projects coming to life on Waivio, from cooking and cat lovers to gardening and sports. Each of these communities is leveraging Hive’s decentralized data to create something valuable and rewarding for its users. It’s exciting to think about how all this data could eventually play a big role in Hive’s overall value. Looking forward to seeing where this all goes!

Thanks for dropping by and for the work you put into Wavio and to help some of the businesses using it as the back-end to understand how to best take advantage of the platform.

It is a symbiotic relationship, for sure. In a way, and you have mentioned in previous presentations, Wavio's social shops model takes advantage of the existing community on Hive and the storing capabilities of the chain, while every shop is able to leverage the communities, products and reviews of other shops. Hive benefits in multiple ways, from the businesses that may attract new users, a flow of capital, and the data that is stored that, as I mentioned in the post, becomes more and more valuable.
