Yes its different. InLEO is one of many apps built on top of the HIVE blockchain. When u created an InLEO account, you created a HIVE account by default. Having the account on keychain allows you to log in to any other HIVE apps if you need to.
Think of it as if HIVE being the internet, and INLEO is one website on the internet. Being on INLEO means you are on HIVE, but being on HIVE does not mean you are on INLEO.
