I believe you guys might be interested again ;) Feel free to guess the result - my upvotes are still worth a bit of effort ;) The odds are like 1 to 10.

Oh god is that tonight
Spain in 90 minutes fingers crossed 3-1 , England down to 10 men

Another bold guess, even though I am aware you're not English :)

Vamos Espaňa!

very boring first half as you would expect in a final game.

Yep, both sides bet on defence and hope for a mistake by theit opponents.

best chance IMO by England

Yep, Spain has played better football so far. England needs to rely on a bit of luck.

España es mi favorita.

Good for you :)

Thanks😍friend @godfish.

only 70 seconds in the 2nd half 1:0 Goal by Williams for Spain well played!

England stood up from this position 3 times during the tournament. Will they do it again?

I hope they won't ;)

Maline Yamal who turned 17 years old yesterday is the youngest European champion with Spain!

great attempt by Beningham slightly missing. England is gearing up some pressure.

At least! There might be a thrilling ending!

And it is equalized! Who would guess that like a minute ago :)

Is soccer (football) big in the Olympics from a fan standpoint? It seems with all that goes on, that the Olympics would be rather meh.

Not really, the age of the Olympics rooster is capped at 23, so it is basically a junior world cup. The FIFA WC, and the continental championships are more prestigious.

Ah. That makes sense.

The stars are in the other matches. That is where the recognized faces appear to be.

Yep, the top stars will be on vacation during the Olympics, getting some rest before the next club season starts.

Yes. Well with the money they make, I dont blame them.

Rest up when they can.

Task, I disagree, because what we are seeing mainly in the European competition are incredible young players.

Promising young people who can be called up and we can see more excitement at the Olympics.

Task, although players have an age limit of 23 years, it is possible to call up 3 veterans to reinforce the squad.

So I believe that some teams will be able to present us with good matches.

Both sides kinda play it safe tonight. HT

How often do they play this?

Is it every 4 years or something like that?

Yep, once in four years, there's the world championship, and once in four years, there are the continental ones (both Americas share one). So in 2 years, the WC will take place, and in another 4 years, another EURO, Copa America and so will occur.

Is one of them FIFA. I know that was big for some time and it might have been renamed.

Yep, FIFA stands for Fédération Internationale de Football Association. I guess you can understand French enough to decipher it ;)

So it is the FIFA World Cup, and then the UEFA Euro Championship (Union of European Football Associations).

LOL lots of them. So many leagues, championships and matches.

Really amazing.

It's a world-wide sport :) The US sports have never made it abroad. Hardly anybody plays the american football, baseball made it to Japan, basketball is a thing in many countries - it's by far the most successfull.

Canadian ice hockey conquered the northern half of Europe plus Italy, curling is quite a thing in several countries too.

Yeah they tried the WAFL in Europe which I believe was supported by the NFL. It failed miserably.

Of course, it was effectively a minor league program since it was not top players.

Not the night of Albion, the Spaniards take the lead back!

What an opening of the second half - that's the way to go! Spain takes the lead.

So happy that Spain won over England! xP

I'm English but Spain deserved it without a doubt

Me too :)) It's coming to my second home ;)

Haha, me too (the second home part… although my first home is England)

Free HQ stream (it's already on) with no ads and malware is also available here: https://sport.ceskatelevize.cz/

You need a Czech IP address, most VPNs would work.

I hate to say it, but it will be 3:1 to Spain in extra time

Wow, that's a bold guess by somebody from Albion! Good luck, though, I'm siding with Spain too ;)

I'm happy to be proven wrong

I'm sure you are - I met the Hammers fans during the Europa Conference League finals here in Prague, and accidentally had a great time :)) I know how you guys can celebrate.

They taught me the chants, including Bowen's on fire & he's shaggin Dani Dyer. I still have no clue who she is, but he may take part in this game, especially if we witness a draw :)

I only watch the big tournaments, so I'm no expert. I can see Spain will be good.

From what I know, Spain has been playing the best football so far.

And thanks for participating!

0:0

Harry Kane booked as the first one. I did not see this coming :)

actually it was 69 seconds

Williams is so dangerous! Extremely hard to defend.

dangerous attempt by Yamal Spain brings Oyarzabal.
Before that Kane had to leave the pitch

Fabián gets a chance for 2:0 from 18m Palmer replaces Mainoo for England

Palmer touched the ball for the second time in this game.
