Actually here in India the UPI system is very normal and you can directly transfer money from your account to other account by scanning the QR code with a mobile app. Very successful..

Very interesting. For someone living in such a convenient country, it may seem ridiculous to stand in line at an ATM.
Not all of the users are tech savvy. There is a learning curve that needs be covered first.
That's great. In Japan, most banks do not allow money transfers outside of business hours. At night, on holidays, you can operate remittance, but the money will not arrive. It is inconvenient.
