For the non religious this is the time we enjoy fish sandwiches at are local fast food chains.

Fish is meat btw. People not eating red meat and eating fish means they are still eating a meat, flesh, an animal, hopefully delicious fish.

Meat = Flesh of an animal intended for food.
Not judging anyone's anything, or debating reasoning behind a tradition, not even vegetarian myself, just saying its meat. Often tasty tasty meat.
