Really disappointed that he couldn't get that 1 stage needed to go alone as the man with the most stage wins.
Do you reckon he comes back next season or this will be it?

I think this will be it. It must get harder each year to train as he gets older. Such a shame he had a mechanical the day before. His cycling speed was the fastest. Without the chain issues he probably would have won that stage. 😢

It's been so good this year but the Mark Cavendish story has pretty much everyone gutted. I'm not writing the details in case others want to watch for themselves.
I know nothing of the #sport...not since Lance Armstrong.
It's changed a lot since then. 😂 Mark is one of the last of the wave that came after the drug stuff. The young talent is very different again. Like most sport nowadays. Highly controlled nutrition, body type etc.

Me neither. I got into #cycling because my partner cycles and then discovered that international track cycling is really, really exciting to watch which led to an interest in road cycling.
