Crypto Influencer, Lark Davis, Lists Top 5 Crypto Assets Likely To Make Big Gains In December 2020

New Zealand's most prominent crypto influencer and Bitcoin advocate, Lark Davis, who runs the YouTube Channel known as the Crypto Lark, has named top five crypto assets which he believes are likely to make massive gains in the month of December. Davis' assumptions are based upon specific forthcoming events in the month of December that could have positive impacts on the price of the named assets.

Topmost on Davis' list is Ethereum. He believes that the second largest crypto in terms of market capitalization has a very high potential to rally higher in the month of December as the crypto community anticipates the launch of Ethereum 2.0 on December 1st. Davis also believes that the launch has the potential to see more Ether locked in the deposit contract which will have a positive impact on the price. Here is how he puts it:

Obviously, Ethereum and the launch of ETH 2.0 on December 1st, it’s a pretty damn big deal for Ethereum and the crypto market overall. I expect we’re going to see a lot of interest continuing in Ethereum in the run-up to that date, post that date, as we see more and more Ethereum getting locked up into the deposit contract. It will have a positive impact for Ether.”

Ripple (XRP) is the second crypto asset in the list. Davis opines that although XRP has pumped massively in the last couple of days, it has a potential to even rally higher ahead of the December 12th snapshot date for the airdrop of 45 billion Spark tokens to the holders of XRP. The assumption is that more people are likely to buy XRP in order not to miss out of the airdrop while those who already hold the tokens might likely want to keep them until after the snapshot date.

Third on the list is AAVE. Davis believes that the release of an upgrade of the AAVE protocol in December might have a very significant impact on the price of the DeFi token. Here are his words:

“They will soon be releasing Aave V2 which could be a big catalyst for the token. Currently, the Aave V2 upgrade is live on the Ethereum testnet. Now, upgrades to the protocol will include better optimization of the transaction flows; reducing the number of transactions you actually need to make to interact with Aave, tokenized debt positions, fixed rates for deposits, better stability for borrowing rates, private markets to support a wide range of assets."

The fourth token on the list is Axie Infinity (AXS). AXS intends to exploit the huge potential in the gaming and non-fungible token industry by introducing Axie, a game that allows gamers to build on digital land and own pets that can be battled against other players. Davis thinks that Axie has a very high likelihood to succeeded as more players get involved in the forthcoming month. This are Davis' words quoted verbatim:

“Axie is a game where you can build a digital land, kind of a kingdom, and then you can battle your pets against other players. And if you think that rare Pokemon like game items is a silly idea gaming man, whatever, then take into account that actual Pokemon cards have been exploding in price recently. Gaming is super hot, collectibles – super hot. If this game catches on, then it could be really, really big.”

Last on the list is Kusama (KSM) which Davis thinks will do well in the months ahead because it is launching a parachain auctions, a kind of sidechain solution that will allow KSM to host hundreds of other blockchains. Davis thinks that this technology will positively impact the price of KSM as it becomes more valuable in the days ahead. In his video, Davis was found saying,

A parachain is a simple blockchain that attaches to the main chain like Polkadot (DOT) or Kusama to be able to access their security and wider network effect. So Kusama will be able to host a hundred different blockchains attached to it. So think of these hundred parachains like spokes on a wheel and Kusama is the center.”
