Many people tend to be scared of the dark, I personally sometimes prefer going for walks just around sunset and this extends a bit into the night.

Most places are well-illuminated in our town after dark, but if you go on narrow alleys, it might be darker and potentially more dangerous.

It seems more people are losing their minds(sanity), these days.
