I think every corner of the globe should practice sustainability in every possible way. What Denmark is doing is showing the world that there is plenty of renewable resources that could utilize to support our daily needs. We don't have to rely on coal power plants or nuclear power plants to generate the electricity that we need. There's an abundance of resources all around us.
Indoor vertical farming is more efficient than the traditional way of farming. It has also a lesser carbon footprint which is better for the environment.

At this point, I dont think it much matters how it is powered. There are certain parts of the world where food is a priority. Of course, many of those areas have a lot of sun meaning that these farms could be built with solar and operate in that manner.
The combination of the two makes things even more powerful.
