Just submitted a brief video showing my experience scrolling through comments on a post. Here is a representative screenshot of what I was seeing (when the scrolling bar was not jumping around).
I was barely able to access some parent and child comments, partially due to some spam comments, partially due to slow loading, and partially due to the clunkiness of the interface. There were many instances when I scrolled down and the interface would jump back up to a random spot.
Windows 10, Brave Browser, Desktop.

In this instance, the spam comments were still visible, but it was easy to scroll past them and view the remainder of the content without additional clicks. The page also loaded quicker and there was no random scrolling.
