Web 3.0: A New Model For Content Creators

I love this section.

Not just individual content creators but entire businesses and companies have a chance to tokenise and take advantage of what Web3 has to offer.

I keep thinking about legacy newspaper businesses, especially smaller local ones, who are slowly driving themselves into the ground financially.

The old model just isn't profitable anymore, but local communities still need news.

But what if a community paper led a campaign to bring their content to Hive?

They could build a tokenised front-end which essentially acts as a community hub.

A 'featured' section at the top, similar to LeoFinance, could be made up of approved journalists content.

Then the rest of the content displayed on the front-end is displayed via stake weighted voting on a second layer token.

If you're a local business or have a cause that you want to get in front of eyeballs, then it is in your best interest to buy and stake the token.

So much potential here for failing businesses, I really don't know why nobody has taken the plunge yet.
