I was talking to Khal last week about a $BTC short trade setup I liked.

Price was at weekly resistance so my bias was to short 👇

It's that patience pays.

Never chase trades even if you think you've missed them!

This! That's why I don't trade 'coz I don't have much of it (patience) LOL!

Haha, I hear so many people say that.

But patience and discipline, the traits that you need to be a successful trader, are definitely skills that can be learned.

Yeah. I'm aware about that but application is simply challenging, lol! I do need more practice to get that discipline.

It's not for everyone.

If you don't want to trade, then don't feel like you have to.

As you know, there are a ton of other ways to make money in and around the crypto industry :)

Yes. That's true. Although I did some good trades in the past few years. I got lazier though.

I then zoomed in to find an area of short term previous support that could act as resistance if retested 👇

At the time, the 1:3.74 risk:reward setup I was talking to Khal about played out as marked on that chart.

But see how the market gave you further potential entries at 2, 3 and 4?

What's the trading lesson to take away here?

Did you short it? A pretty big green candle there.

You replied before I could get my whole thread out 😂.

A 'publish all threads at once' button like on Twitter, would be fantastic.

short?

how much % of your capital and the x?

Look at the trade marked on the hourly chart above.

1:3.74 risk:reward.

2% of your capital (or whatever you want).

great!

I joined you in that play without even knowing it! Put on a short hedge at 30,600 last week.

Ah nice, right after this spike?

For me, anywhere within that weekly zone was a good spot to short/hedge/cover.

It looks like a nice trade but it doesn't look like your reward zone was ever hit.

What do you mean?

The entry and exit points are on the hourly chart, with in this thread---> https://leofinance.io/threads/view/forexbrokr/re-forexbrokr-2rdq8d6qi

Ah ok. I missed it and mixed up the support line further down.
