For me the larger problem is the problem to actually find our Hive when using search engines. Unfortunate naming in the sense of branding.
What suggestion do you have for a new name?
Not sure it was unfortunate. It could have been avoided. There were many of us who spoke out about it being a bad idea at the time the name was sugested because Hive blockchain technoligies already existed.
Market Hive to devs.
Then those that build dApps market their own brand to different users.
It's up to them to figure out how to get normies to seamlessly sign up.

Hive has always been in deep on a lot of shit with Hive blockchain already being a mining company, Hive.com, Hive being a software for whatever shit, can't recall, there's so much out there.
Yeah, terrible branding.
But if the front-ends are smart, they can focus on their own branding and Hive shouldn't even come into it.
it pissed me off when I see those hive social tweets with #hive tag on twitter and also when we search for twitter alternative that shit shows up with others

But turns out he was actually bagging Hive social and has no idea about us.
