In the relatively short time I've been using Hive, I've come across a few people raging or lamenting that their posts (of the type you describe) don't earn more than a few cents at best

I don't understand it

I've posted heaps and heaps of daily-activity-type content using Actifit and I always thought receiving valuation on those of a few cents through upvotes was a blessing. In truth, their objective value is... nothing.

Is it self-importance? Unrealistic expectation?

Anyway, was a good read. Thanks for sharing. It's a shame that many don't see how they're used and abused by farcebook
