It sounds like you need a solid shift in your chaos magnetism polarity, make it repulsive and not so attractive.
Sorry for the car and glad he's okay. If the airbag didn't go off it looks like that wouldn't be too horrible to get fixed if it's just the front corner. Scrap yards could have most things needed. Unless it's just too much trouble at this point which I could totally understand, sometimes it's just easier to wash our hands of it.
The joke in my friend group here is that I am some sort of ley line stability point, as any time I leave the farm chaos explodes and heightens around the world. Perhaps the personal chaos is a not so fun part of being that stabilizing force. All joking aside, this week's been an existential beating for sure!
Apparently the airbags should have deployed but they didn't. Most of the time we would have just ordered the parts and fixed the vehicle, but the damage is pretty significant, and with all the familial illness and dying going on right now we had to take the turn it over to insurance route. They've been magnificent (Farm Bureau), so that helps, other than I HATE BUYING CARS!
Okay, I will engage my Stoic training here and reframe that, I'm just tired lol!

Sometimes it's just easier to use the tool we pay for (insurance) and it's good they are being awesome. State Farm has treated us well when we have totaled vehicles but I've heard horror stories of others.
It's almost like the universe is trying to encourage, maybe urge? you to engage in a lengthy stoic hermitage on your farm... Hope things get better and the chaos calms soon.
