It's sad to see how the US government treats Snowden. I have read through the stuff and I think they did the wrong thing by causing so many issues for Snowden.

Yes, obviously the US government hates him. He is people's friend, a whistleblower, and their number one threat.
We need to support people like him as much as we can.

There is a difference between legalizing and making it legal tender.
Either way, it is a step in the right direction.
