Hello everyone, Falcon here, putting together a blog to motivate Hive users and most especially the #newlions. I'm not speaking as one that has accomplished, but one that's still on a journey to accomplish. As a matter of fact, by my nature, I doubt I will ever get to the point where I say I have accomplished, because there is always a next level. Life is like a game, only that it never ends until well, you know, that final breath. I wish we lived forever, but hey, deal with it, everything ends one day.
Hope that's not counterintuitive to my opening line of motivating. 🤔
Why am I talking about this:
Now to most of you on here, this is nothing new to hear. It's become somewhat of a cliché, but I'm the kind of person who takes the basic principles quite seriously because that's the foundation of every big complex thing you see.
No sane person wants to fail at life, no sane person wants to end up poor. Everybody wishes they had everything they desire, but sadly only a small fraction of us can say we got what we wanted.
Why do Some Get and Others Don't:
To be honest, there are quite a number of factors. Some are things beyond an individual's control like health issues, natural disasters (like the sad news of fire outbreaks we hear of in California and other parts of the world), etc., and others within our control. Mostly the ones within our control are almost enough to make us bounce back even if unfortunate things happen to us, if and only if we have the heart and energy to start again.
As simple as it sounds
Ever heard of goal setting?
Yeah, 99.9% sure you've heard the term if you have the ability to read this blog. The next step to achieving anything you want after having the desire and wish for it is to set a goal for it.
I, Falcon, during last year's December (Christmas period) wanted to have Leo power so I can use that as passive income later on in the future. As I have been saying, I am quite young in age, not even 30 years old yet, and hopefully I get to live to my old age (by God's grace). I noticed that those with big Hive power on the platform could easily make an upvote and earn an income without doing much work. Plus they are supporting others to grow and for some, survive. (Yeah, I read a couple of blogs of people saying their main income is from Hive). That's very possible and a good thing looking at the size of this platform, especially if the person is living in areas where the dollar to their currency value favors them. As long as their producing valuable content, it's a win win.
What happened after:
I started brainstorming the idea for a couple of days, and realized, as I have already shared in my previous blogs, that the value of Hive at the moment may be too high for my income level.
No, I'm not a millionaire. You can say I'm a little below average earner, so I don't have money stacked up there and have decided to pump it here. Every little bit I use is good money saved from working.
Anyways, back to the point.
I realized that based on what Khal and his team are building, the InLeo platform on Hive has massive potential for the future. This means, if all goes according to plan, which I pray it does, the value of the token might rise. This means the value of my upvote might also rise.
This is in no way a financial advice to the newbies, it's just my conviction so don't do any investment just because I said anything.
Besides, who the hell is Falcon to even give advice? I'm only here to motivate, not advise.
Again, it's also crypto, so be ready for a real rollercoaster journey. But in the end, the value of a project is not dependent on people holding token, but the utility or use case it provides for people. That's what will bring a lot of eyeballs to the project. And where there are eyeballs, there is value to be captured. This is a little of my reasons for buying Leo and staking Leo every now and then.
How am I doing it:
Okay, to the main point of the blog. Like I said at the beginning, it's not enough to say I want something, in this case, I want Leo power. You need to set a clear goal of how much Leo power you want and when you want it.
If you've been following my blogs for the past 1 week when I got back to blogging, you will notice that I achieve all the goals I set for myself.
The most recent one was when I said that since I had the opportunity to buy the Leo dip of 0.03, then I might as well make sure I get to 30K Leo by this Sunday (tomorrow).

At the time of speaking, I wasn't having the money to take it to that level. My mind kept wondering how I'm going to achieve it because I don't want to fail any goal I write on the blockchain. Yeah, it's a blockchain, so millions of years to come if the world is still existing (hopefully it does), someone can scroll all the way down to read these blogs.
Don't want them to see Falcon failed and be discouraged at life. Setting a good example like Khal, the leader of this project InLeo.
I kept thinking and thinking: Any spare money have I got somewhere? Any way I can get back what some friends owe me? Yeah, lots of those thoughts. And the cliché of "where there is a will, there is a way" happened. Somehow the universe brought the value of the Leo tokens so low that my few dollars could purchase it to accomplish 30K Leo Power.
Maybe it's the law of attraction, but whatever it is, I'm now a believer and willing to engage it throughout this year.
So setting a clear goal of what you want and when you want it is the real magic.
Don't be ridiculous with the goals
I wish I had a million Leo tokens before tomorrow, but let's be honest, that would be ridiculous looking at my current financial background. I'm not poor, but hey, 31K is money to me (for now). I heard Khal say he spent over 10K in ETH gas fees over the years on Tuesdays AMA, and I was like, respect to you, man.
Life is not a competition, keep growing from where you are and eventually you will get to the heights the big guys are if you don't give up.
What I do is, I check my level, and then I stretch the goal like 30% extra my ability, so it will force me to grow.
Don't set it too low (there's no fun in that)
Don't set it too high (you might not achieve it and you will be discouraged to try again)
Don't set it on your level (you won't grow that way)
Go the extra mile with the goal
If it doesn't put you under a little pressure to think and seek ways, then it's not worth setting because it won't make you satisfied and won't make you develop and become a better person.
This blog is getting way too long, let me end it right here and now as I have made my point. I will be making a blog tomorrow talking about my next Leo Power goal after reaching 30K tomorrow.
Also, I'm planning my Hive Power goal too, so that should be fun as well.
Thanks for taking the pain to read Falcon's blog, catch you tomorrow on my next blog.
Have a great weekend.
