Social media is like a game. Yes. We are what we read and what our minds read. Many are programed. And yet, few have the critical thinking skills to discern propaganda from truth. Our interest in being entertain weakens our defenses to think. And when a lie is told over and over it becomes truth. Social media becomes our video game absent of true reality.
Absolutely. Critical thinking used to be part of everyday life, as it was needed to take care of ourselves - but once we become reliant on others to "feed" us, we stop learning how to hunt.
