Hello everyone,

I’m so glad to be making my first post in this wonderful community. I’m excited to share my financial content here and hoping to learn more from amazing minds in this community. Today I will be sharing my idea on what and what is not worth spending on, the habits we need to kill and how to move forward from there.

It is amazing what you can achieve when you stop making excuses. Great achievements are born out of hard-work and consistency, no one breaks a curse or out grow a challenging habit. These habits could be smoking, debts, gluttony, pornography among others, most times this habits affects our finances more than we think. Your financial problems really is not in the figures, often times it is in what you do or won’t do.

Earlier I do think my worth is the amount I have in my bank account or the amount of cash I have at hand, and this has resort into careless spending which overtime would lead to financial trouble. I discovered that, the money at hand can get lost, mismanaged or even stolen, if I save $20 in my bank accounts, over two to three months, there would be deductions and really there could be other issues that may hinder me from getting the money when I need it, so can I really call it my money?

Recently I discovered what my worth really is, it is what I’ve gotten with money. If I purchase a house with money, the item is what is mine. A man is has big (rich) as what he owns and control. And that is why it is important to spend more on the imperishable items (owning or investing in Landed property).

Most time the focus is on saving, well paying a lot of attention on your spending pattern is quite important too. If you spend $10 dollar more on feeding last month, you should know the reason. And if you can stop the increase try to.
The simple logic about spending is, you have to spend below what you earn. If your income has not increase, make sure your spending did not.

Your habit and Your finances

Growing up to become an adult you will understand that there’s a cost for everything. Sometimes the cost may not be in numbers or monetary, often times it is monetary, time and inconvenience. The question now is, what are your habits? Because this habit affects your finances directly or indirectly.
A chronic drunkard would spend heavily on alcohol, and over time it will reflect in his productivity first and eventually in his finances. A gluttony spends so much on food, now it’s okay if he can afford it, eating well is good, however over time it will affect his health and eventually reduces his productivity and finally his finances.

The solution to financial troubles most times is not numerical, calculative or monetary. The solution lies in how right you’re living. What are your habits, what do you spend lot of time doing, are they things that are not productive? Are they things you spend so much now?

It’s time to kill some habits

Do have a wonderful day.

Equally important is time, nothing can get the time back.
Then it's the people around us.

Money and finance is nowhere near the top, they are by product of the above more so than anything else.
