Legacy tech, burnout, and AI — Google report finds the biggest worries for security leaders right now

Google Workspace's report reveals that IT leaders are more concerned about their teams being overwhelmed than about security. Nearly half (43%) of respondents believe being overwhelmed is a serious concern, indicating that current approaches are unsustainable. The report also found that 81% of organizations experience at least one security incident per year, indicating that there is much work to be done. The top breach issue is from generative AI attacks, with 31% identifying this as a primary concern.
