I know so little about blockchains especially ethereum
Some say ethereum is fully decentralized
And EVM compatible blockchains like Binance Smart Chain
Polygon, Avalanche and Heco are not as decentralized as ethereum
But their gas fees are cheaper but
I do not know the differences between these networks
But they are derived from ethereum I think
I do not know whether they are modified version of ethereum or not
I think someday they may fade away and disappear
My assumption may be wrong as I have little knowledge about them
But I cannot use ethereum blockchain as the gas fees are too high
No matter they are decentralized or not
I mostly use BSC chain now as it is cheaper and
There are many dapps on BSC chain
They are essentially a copy-paste version of the ETH source code. Their fees are lower because they increased block height and reduced block time but that causes a whole lot of problems when you need to handle thousands of transactions every minute.
BSC has broken down at least 10 times this year. Solana got restarted (so much for decentralization) and even Avalanche sucked for a few months due to insanely high fees.
Copying Ethereum is easy, improving on the concept is not.
