Yah that's the pity operating system doesn't work anymore, no more updates are possible to be set, I know it's the way people have to buy other one otherwise they could keep working decades!
And this is the reason and planning to buy a new one, some programs outdated already (mine it's 2011 mac) but I'm waiting for the new models at the end of this year I have heard... we'll see.
