But, considering that the film had budget of 168 million US$, and that 31 million US$ represents the worst Memorial Day box office result since 1995, this is widely seen as major disappointment for US film industry, further fuelling concern among the future of Hollywood in the world saturated by streaming, alternative forms of entertainment and filmmakers' inability, except on few occasions, to connect with the general audience.
