4/ The case against Assange stems from the series of US top secret documents illegally obtained and passed to Wikileaks by Bradley Manning, US Army soldier serving in Iraq in 2010. The documents, including infamous "Collateral Murder" video recording, were published by Wikilieaks, causing serious embarrassment to administration of President Obama.
