@glimpsytips patiently explains what I do not understand about actifit. It is natural to score when the mobile phone vibrates. The key is to get the score you get from physical activity. As @pjansen said, it is not convenient to hold a mobile phone while riding a bicycle. It will be comfortable to stick it on your arms or legs.
I just read @glimpsytips' comment and this is what we also advise in situations where the mobile doesn't capture all movements.
For example, when people are using a bicycle, they should attach their mobile to one of their legs so that it still records the cycle count. Here is the post of a user explaining the approach.
