In one way or the other, we've all come in contact with communities that couldn't stand the test of time. This lecture hammered greatly on those ingredients that a Community, especially in web2 and web3, needs to keep firm.
As I tuned in, the conversation delved into practical insights on building and maintaining community bonds. The engagement of 3k individuals showcased the widespread interest and acknowledgment of the significance of this subject.

Just yesterday while performing some tasks on X, I came across a company that their highly anticipated phone, came out and didn't meet the people's expectation. What a big turn down for such company!
To keep the community strong, it's crucial to balance commitments and avoid over-promising. This way, if unexpected issues come up, trust won't be lost, and the community won't break apart.

By setting realistic expectations, there's a safety net against potential letdowns. This balanced approach builds a foundation of trust, reducing the likelihood of the community falling apart when challenges arise. Finding the middle ground prevents exaggerated promises, ensuring resilience and maintaining trust, even in the face of unforeseen obstacles.

Engaging on chats between members and leaders

THREADS, especially threadcast is thriving today because the leaders eyes are fixed on the comments of members. I heard that during one of the spaces held, gifts were given to engagers🥰.

When a community founder actively engages with members, it fosters a strong sense of belonging, encouraging them to stay involved. Imagine if the founder personally reached out, either anonymously or publicly, to express gratitude for a job well done. This recognition not only makes individuals feel appreciated but also inspires others to seek similar acknowledgment. It goes beyond mere rewards; it's about standing out and being noticed. By recognizing and appreciating members, founders not only reward hard work but also effectively promote their brand or business. Everyone craves recognition, and acknowledging efforts not only retains community members but also fuels a collective drive for success and promotion.
