In 2025, Italy will continue to offer several subsidy programs for property owners designed to improve living conditions, boost energy efficiency, and support eco-friendly technologies. These measures aim to make homes more comfortable, affordable, and sustainable, while also addressing global environmental challenges.

One of the main programs is the building renovation bonus, which will stay in place in 2025. Homeowners who register their primary residence at the address can receive a 50% discount on renovation costs, while second homes qualify for a 36% discount. However, in line with Italy’s push to reduce carbon emissions, gas boilers will no longer be eligible for deductions. This is part of a larger effort to encourage greener energy solutions like heat pumps and solar panels, which will have a positive impact on the environment.

The government is also introducing a new bonus to help property owners replace outdated household appliances with energy-efficient models. You can get up to 30% off the cost of new appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, and dryers. The maximum subsidy per appliance is 100 euros, or up to 200 euros for families with an ISEE income under 25,000 euros. This will help reduce energy consumption, lower electricity bills, and make homes more energy-efficient, which is especially valuable with rising energy costs.

In addition, the furniture bonus will continue in 2025, encouraging the purchase of new furniture. This program is designed to support consumer demand and make it easier for families to refresh their homes without breaking the bank. It promotes sustainable consumption while improving living spaces and the overall quality of life.

These initiatives are all aimed at supporting families, stimulating economic growth, and creating a more energy-efficient and eco-friendly housing environment. Investing in energy-efficient technologies not only saves money but also helps protect the planet’s future.
