RE: FDP fordert eine Bitcoin-Reserve für Deutschland/ FDP calls for a Bitcoin reserve for Germany

You are assuming a German poster will ever explain the irrational complexity of the politics of the United States. This is a mistake. You cannot comprehend how much the right wing here will do that which is irrational, even based on its own goals, not to have anyone but Anglo-Saxons in official positions of power. My fellow citizens have voted themselves at least a 25 percent increase on the cost of everything, and the possibility of crop failures because immigrants plant and pick so much of our food, just not to see a woman like me as president, and to imagine running every dark-skinned person out of town. Right now, the rank-and-file right and Elon Musk are in pitched battle because he and Vivek Ramaswamy want skilled immigrants to be excluded from mass deportation, and the rank-and-file wants everyone dark-skinned of a different language group gone even though it will destroy the country's economy on every level to do that. Those same people will be pressuring their senators -- with death threats -- if Larry Fink gets anywhere NEAR a position in government and they even think of approving him. He cannot be appointed to the cabinet without Senate approval!

Sort:

This stupid racism also exists in Germany, although every intelligent citizen should know that integrated immigrants are skilled workers. No economy would be able to cope with deporting these skilled workers.

However, the lazy ones should not receive any social benefits, regardless of whether they are Germans or immigrants.

You probably didn't translate the picture I sent you?

It means that the financial sector has the say, followed by the media and finally the political puppets are allowed to sell the decisions to the people.

I understand the poster, and even acknowledge its general correctness. The problem is that here, we have enough citizens willing to kill off the financial sector -- so many applauded the brutal murder of the head of United Health Care that it needs to be understood. I will put it in Wagnerian terms: folks who do not even know what Goetterdammerung means and are too lazy to find out think they are ready to unleash it.

I understand!

In Germany it would probably not be so easy to murder a politician.

In Germany we are not even allowed to carry knives.

Not even a knife -- now that is a great difference. There are pros and cons to it, I'm sure ... but you are right: mass violence is much harder under such circumstances. Here mass violence is just daily news ... and it makes a big difference in how politics works here now. Even Donald Trump himself has experienced this, twice. I pray for his safety, especially now that his supporters are fighting with Elon and Vivek and losing, and will be expecting him to side with them and will inevitably be unpleasantly surprised!
