RE: FDP fordert eine Bitcoin-Reserve für Deutschland/ FDP calls for a Bitcoin reserve for Germany

Since I do not have a complete grasp on even comprehending my own country's politics, I do not even attempt to say anything about Germany's -- however, if the U.S. and German governments catch up with El Salvador in really doing something with Bitcoin, and that catches on in Europe, the supply shock will be truly astounding. HOWEVER, if the math of Bitcoin still holds in terms of it topping out and turning around in 2026, governments who do not understand how things work may face exposure they are not prepared for in losses, and turn on Bitcoin and crypto in 2027 ... this bears watching carefully, and likely also might be a reason for the crypto community to seriously consider doing educational work with willing officials and aspirants to office. President-elect Trump has that title because he is considered more willing to listen to the crypto community here. I do not say that it was the only reason he succeeded, but it may be worth considering that the global crypto community can make itself a reason for political success.

Sort:

I can tell you that there is already a lobby group in the German Bundestag that calls itself Bitcoin in the Bundestag.

We will see whether the USA or Germany actually accumulates Bitcoin in 2026.

As far as I know, the USA will definitely not start accumulating Bitcoin in 2025.

2026 is so late it may as well be 2028 ... if either one waits that long, they will throw over the whole idea ... Bitcoin's cycle crash will dissuade them!

When I read that the USA will not start accumulating in 2025, it was a confirmation for me that the high will come in 2025.

I think if Larry Fink becomes your next finance minister, he will know about the volatility of cryptocurrencies. 😉

Larry Fink is a lifelong Democrat, and Jewish openly practicing Judaism. In this political climate, with the Republicans embracing both the old Confederacy and Nazism -- yes, I wrote precisely what I meant there, because the American Nazi Party came out for President-elect Trump -- there is no chance of him being appointed to anything by a Republican-controlled Senate. However, he is the head of BlackRock ... plenty powerful enough, without regard to what people who can be voted out in 2-4 years may think about him. That is the advantage of being a head of a truly powerful financial institution.

this picture says it all... Germany's next Chancellor Friedrich Merz is also a former employee of BlackRock, which is why Merz is keen to go to war in Ukraine because BlackRock is also involved in the largest German arms company Rheinmetall.

Our new opposition leader Alice Weidel from the AFD is a former employee of Goldman Sachs. And Elon Musk recently said, "ONLY THE AFD CAN SAVE GERMANY"

You are assuming a German poster will ever explain the irrational complexity of the politics of the United States. This is a mistake. You cannot comprehend how much the right wing here will do that which is irrational, even based on its own goals, not to have anyone but Anglo-Saxons in official positions of power. My fellow citizens have voted themselves at least a 25 percent increase on the cost of everything, and the possibility of crop failures because immigrants plant and pick so much of our food, just not to see a woman like me as president, and to imagine running every dark-skinned person out of town. Right now, the rank-and-file right and Elon Musk are in pitched battle because he and Vivek Ramaswamy want skilled immigrants to be excluded from mass deportation, and the rank-and-file wants everyone dark-skinned of a different language group gone even though it will destroy the country's economy on every level to do that. Those same people will be pressuring their senators -- with death threats -- if Larry Fink gets anywhere NEAR a position in government and they even think of approving him. He cannot be appointed to the cabinet without Senate approval!

This stupid racism also exists in Germany, although every intelligent citizen should know that integrated immigrants are skilled workers. No economy would be able to cope with deporting these skilled workers.

However, the lazy ones should not receive any social benefits, regardless of whether they are Germans or immigrants.

You probably didn't translate the picture I sent you?

It means that the financial sector has the say, followed by the media and finally the political puppets are allowed to sell the decisions to the people.
