And here I always find the yen slightly ridiculous. ¥100 = $1. Well, about $.70 now, but it'll probably bounce back up soon enough. When I spend ¥10,000 bills, it always seems even more silly. Just rebase the currency and chop off those two extra zeros, making $1 = ¥1 as it was before WWII. Or create a new unit equal to 100 yen.

But the silliness of the yen pales in comparison to the ones you post about!
