We are entering the main Christmas week and some of my friends told me about their intentions to travel. It can be one of those things when you stay in the heart of the town and you are also from there. Ok, there is no village going for you unless when I start hitting new cities by those times I can plan on visiting home ones in a while.
Talking of Christmas, I will be delving into this article at duo ends; first is my experiences I can share on Christians and Christianity and also break into Christians and Christmas. The noise is much, many are seeing Christmas as a pagan worship. Some drag that Jesus Christ wasn't borne on 25th of December. What say you? Let's keep it for the latter part as I gradually build up this article.
What is always your experience when you are introduced to a Fellowship both online or offline? I could remember when we were setting up our cell praying group we tagged ‘hunters’. Our last recruit later shared a story that I had to sit back and reflect on. Ok, before she was added into the group she was first briefed on what this team is ALL about.

As excited as she was, she decided to join our WhatsApp group. So what shocked her in the group? The number of members. To be straight forward we were just two and she was to be the number three person in a group she was expecting to see a crowd. The happy part is that that group served the purpose to which see was informed.
Her faith life was rekindled, something she later said she had lost everything that connected her with God due to the life challenges. It is better to be few with impact rather than carry numbers with mind none aligned. We are still few to talk of and we are not in a Rush to pull any crowd into this team. We have to admit that when it comes to things concerning God, many will walk away; God on demo mode.
Someone on-chain recently introduced me to a Christian group here on Hive, he even shared with me a Discord channel to meet all our members. What was I expecting? A crowd as usual, should I have expected that? maybe I thought some people outside our boundaries should be burning more for Christ but it seems it was just that few handfold again. I could count the members in a global social media. WHAT IS GOING ON???

Turning into Christmas and as I earlier said, tough topics and arguments like Christmas is a pagan worship and Jesus wasn't born on December 25th had been raised. To quickly address the latter; personally I am in no argument of the exact day and date Our Lord Jesus was born since it was not stated in the Scriptures. 25th December or not, the essence of fixing this date is to remind us that a savior came, period.
Or have we not read in the scriptures where God said any day you chose to be sacred doesn't matter, what matters is that you do well to keep it sacred.
One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God---Romans 14:5-6 NIV
My main focus is on these pagan worship arguments. Are they right? First, we have to reflect on how many who assume to be Christians behave during the Christmas season. Talk of debauchery, orgies, drunkenness, vile talks, gluttony, sexual immorality, absence of self control, unmannered spending and the many likes you can remember.
All these in a season set aside to receive the son of God that came to liberate humanity. Some even fix dates and sex days on December 25th as a means of celebration, you begin to imagine, where are the consciousness and conscience of these men.
To conclude let me add, why wouldn't they talk when purpose is not aligning. This is why I most times just look from a distance from some raised arguments. We Christians have to work on ourselves, it will end the noise.
