The Minnesota #wild keep rolling with a 5-2 win over the Edmonton #oilers this afternoon in St Paul. Matt Boldy scored twice and Ryan Hartman scored with 6 seconds left in the 1st period to leave it 3-2 after 1. Vlad Tarasenko continued his resurgence with his 4th goal in the last 3 games midway through the 3rd period and then assisted on an empty-netter to ice it.

The Wild have now won 7 straight and set the franchise record for most consecutive home games with points. They are 12-0-2 in their last 14 home games. On tap is a big one. The NHL's best team so far this season, the Colorado #avalanche, come to town tomorrow afternoon. The Wild ended the Avs 12-game winning streak a couple weeks ago and now have a 7 game streak of their own to protect.

Minnesota finally got some good news on the injury front as 5 of the 7 players who were out returned to the lineup today. That should hopefully mean they'll be fresh enough on a back-to-back to keep their legs tmrw. Go Wild!
