The Minnesota #wild continue their hot streak with a 5-2 win in Columbus over the #bluejackets. The last two games have avenged two early season defeats by the same two opponents. The Wild lost 6-1 to the Capitals and 7-4 to Columbus in October and have now turned the tables with 5-0 and 5-2 wins this week.
The Wild are now 18-3-2 since November 1st and have picked up a grand total of 1 point in the standings vs Colorado. lol On the plus side, the Wild were down 7 players again to injury and they've still managed to continue to win games. Hopefully they can get healthy and keep the hot streak going for a while. It's a long season and they're still a half dozen games from reaching the halfway point.
Another fun weekend on tap as the Wild head back home to face the defending Western Conference Champion Edmonton #oilers and then the aforementioned Colorado #Avalanche in Saturday/Sunday matinees. Should be fun! Go Wild!!
The Wild's streak screams discipline—down players but still winning? That's mental toughness in action. Building habits like that turns a season around. Keep grinding, stay healthy!
