Hello Everyone,
Splinterlands battle post link: https://peakd.com/splinterlands/@splinterlands/share-your-battle-weekly-challenge-dragon-summoner
It's been the week where Splinterlands Summoners are the highlight and that too Dragon Summoners because of the Weekly Challenge of SHARE YOUR BATTLE and here is my blog for the same with my level 2 Dragon Summoner Drake Of Arnak.
Last week, when I wrote a blog for the same Weekly Challenge, I had written that, I would like to reach Diamond III in this season and I feel I am on track for that with my current level being Gold II and still more than 5 days of time is there for this season to end.
Coming back to this week's challenge, to be frank, Dragon Summoner is the weakest link in my Splinterlands Summoners and so, I normally try to avoid the quest with that by requesting for a new splinter.
But, for a change, I tried to battle it out with same Dragon Splinter for yesterday's daily quest and I was quite successful and here are the details from one of those wins with Drake of Arnak.
There are 10 Dragon Summoners starting with Selenia Sky from Alpha and Beta versions followed by the ever powerful Daria Dragonscale from Rewards cards and 4 Promo cards in Neb Seni, Delwyn Dragonscale, Prince Julian and the more powerful Archmage Arius and then Untamed Summoners in Drake of Arnak and Camila Sungazer with latest addition being from Dice version with Brighton Bloom being the lone one.
I used Drake of Arnak as it gives those armors to the monsters we use and I felt more comfortable with this level 2 one as against the level 3 Delwyn Dragonscale I have.
Lineup:

There was enough Mana of 38 for this battle and the rule set for this battle were Earthquake and Rise of Commons and Drake of Arnak summoner is good for the Earthquake battle as it enables those 2 armors for all monsters.
Monsters I used were as below with the tank being Nectar Queen:
Nectar Queen
Screeching Vulture
Mushroom Seer
Enchanted Pixie
Javelin Thrower and
Sand Worm
Nectar Queen:
Earthquake ruleset prompted me to use this instead of my usual choice of tank of Flesh Golem and it was a good choice as this survived almost till the end of this battle and didn't allow the other monsters getting exposed.
Screeching Vulture:
This flying monster with Opportunity ability I felt is a good choice for backup tank as I had planned to use other monsters from magic and ranged category except for the last one in Sand Worm and it proved another good choice as it was able to get rid of Screeching Vulture on other side.
Mushroom Seer:
In high Mana battles, we can anticipate that, there will be few magic monsters. Keeping that in mind, I used this as it silences the magic attack by reducing it by one.
Enchanted Pixie:
Another flying monster and being a magic one with just 3 cost, it gives a magic attack as well.
Javelin Thrower:
Only ranged attack monster in this lineup and a good one as it's fast to attack with it's speed of 5 and can pierce thru armors as well.
Sand Worm:
The last monster on my lineup is this good melee attack monster of Sand Worm which gives 5 attack and has good health of 6.
Battle:
Here is the link to the battle with one of the decent attack I have being used in this lineup keeping in mind about the rule set of Earthquake and with whatever best monsters I have.

I have tried to include some screenshots from the battle I had with this lineup as explained above.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
Yes, the Earthquake rule set and the Dragon Summoner theme were like the Doctor's prescription of milk for a patient because of the armors the monsters got and avoided getting removed early because of those.
If I wasn't using Dragon Summoner, I would have gone for Earth Splinter as that is one of the best I have and the combination of melee, ranged and magic monsters it has gives more wins for me than other splinters.
Do you use the Sea Monster often? Why or why not?
Nope, I do not use it that often unless there is a quest like I had one or there are certain rule sets like the one we have in this battle, Earthquake or Weak Magic rule set.
Dragon is lesser used by me for another reasons, i.e. all I have is a level 3 summoner where as, other splinters have better summoner levels and that makes me feel more secured to battle with other splinters.
That was some nice battle as the limited summoner level wasn't that of an issue as the monsters were able to pull it off and another helping point for me is the usage of more flying monsters in this earthquake battle. I am sure you will agree with me on this point.
Thanks for reading and appreciating my blogs as always, appreciate you all who vote and comment on my blogs and Thank you :)

Nice strategy there.
Drake of Arnak seems a perfect dragon summoner to me.
Keep on battling.
