I never thought of play2earn as ponzi-like, that's an interesting take. But I agree games just need to be fun and engaging, at the end of the day.

A lot of my non-crypto friends who are gamers see the idea of setting up and managing a crypto wallet as daunting, so that's somewhat a barrier to entry as far as mainstream adoption goes.
