A friend of ours was cabin crew for British Airways and she exchanged currency at the airport. She had so many notes she bought them home and used it to wall paper her bathroom. I still have the Rhodesian coins somewhere in mint condition supplied by the reserve bank. We lived there for 2 years whilst the war was on amongst sanctions and fuel rationing.
