sometimes the downloaded asset gets removed and the client doesn't realize it. Shift + F5 should force the client to redownload all site assets. Clear Cache on mobile devices.

Problem solved on my notebook. It was on my end, pointed out by @michaelklinejr . Many thanks to all that posted here! Now, for the mobile . . . LOL
