Elon Musk says he was tricked and sues OpenAI again
Elon Musk has filed a new lawsuit against OpenAI and its co-founders, Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, alleging that the company has strayed from its original mission of developing artificial intelligence to benefit humanity. The action was registered this Monday (5) in federal court in California, in the United States.
The new lawsuit accuses Altman and Brockman of manipulating Musk into co-founding OpenAI under the promise that the company would be safer and more transparent than for-profit alternatives. According to the lawsuit, these guarantees about OpenAI's non-profit structure were fundamental in convincing Musk to invest in the project.
