    The Mets added to their bullpen with AJ Minter. Then, the Dodgers added to theirs with Tanner Scott. We break down Minter while also taking a step back and thinking about everything the Dodgers are doing and this idea that they're 'ruining' the league. Also, some more Pete Alonso drama dropped and it's pretty messy.

      Roki Sasaki, 23 years young, with talent far beyond his baseball maturity level. I believe the Japanese culture was a factor in his decision. The introspective mentality of self improvement was obviously part of his decision making process to sign with the Dodgers. With LA, he can be part of a system that will bring out the best of him. Going to another franchise would unfairly put pressure on him to be the savior. Now he can be part of a team where any player in any game can be the headliner.

        I thought it was comical that for the past 2 months Jim Bowden, based on his sources with other teams execs, was adamant that the Dodgers were not the likely spot and expected SD to be the one he chooses. Only for him to completely flip once Roki chose LAD. Now claiming that his front office exec sources are mad that it must have been LAD all along and think the Dodgers tampered.

          The Dodgers have been marketing baseball in Japan since the 1950's. The Dodgers have a long history of international signings. Take just the Japanese players: Hideo Nomo, Kaz Ishii, Takashi Saito, Hiroki Kuroda, Kenta Maeda in addition to the latest of Ohtani and Yamamoto. You think some of these young Japanese players have ever heard of Pittsburgh, Milwaukee or Kansas City? Let's see a warm climate would be nice, a large Japanese community wouldn't be bad, how about a stadium filled with fans and a team that WITHIN THE RULES is doing everything they can to win. The so called other teams, by the way NEVER IDENTIFIED are up in arms over the Dodgers signings. They're just trying to redirect the narrative away from the fact that they are poorly run.

            Keep crying, all of us Dodger fans love it. MOST of your teams could be way more competitive than they are but they choose to use their teams as ATMs instead of actually trying to win. You don't have to spend 300+ million to get in the playoffs and once you're in, anything can happen but please keep it up, your tears only justify what the Dodgers are doing. Honestly, it's an easy fix, just implement a salary cap but that will never happen because there will be a floor and MOST of the owners don't want to be forced to spend more money on....wait for it.........PAYROLL. All the haters can keep on crying while the Dodgers dominate.
