The Mets had a wonderful opportunity to win 3 out of 4 games this weekend over the Padres in San Diego and below the game today towards the end so they went 2-2 to start the West Coast road trip. It hurts only because the Braves lost and they could have picked up a full game in the Wild Card race and now they still sit at 3 games back with the season moving towards the end quickly.

Another defeat? My God! That way you won't get any place in the playoffs.
That is what it seems. They are 3 games out of the last playoff spot with about a little over a month left.
