Has that been validated anywhere. I know he had a bad game but it is preseason and the guy was out much of last season.
Plus they dont have too many other options to turn to.

The best part of the play was the awareness Vientos had to go cover second.
Those are the things the Mets have lacked for years and it’s nice to see the younger guys making those smart decisions. Games are won and lost by those decisions @taskmaster4450le
Yeah. I think the best move the Mets made in the Stearns era was the hiring of Carlos Medoza.
I agree Task. Yes, most Mets fans including me were optimistic about Counsel but it benefitted the Mets to get Mendoza instead. He knows the New York market and was in the Yankees organization that’s huge.
He wasnt the sexy name but Strearns went with what was best.

A morte de Silvio Santos aos 93 anos provocou onda de solidariedade entre os clubes brasileiros neste sábado. Diversos clubes brasileiros se manifestaram no início da manhã com pesar pelo falecimento do apresentador e fundador do SBT.
O empresário morreu por volta das 4h de sábado, em São Paulo. De acordo com o comunicado do hospital Albert Einstein, Silvio Santos morreu em decorrência de broncopneumonia após infecção por Influenza (H1N1).

Vikings’ J.J. McCarthy Injury the Latest in a Concerning Trend
Rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy missing the entire 2024 season due to meniscus surgery is all too painfully familiar for the Minnesota Vikings.
He became the third Vikings first-round draft-pick quarterback since 2005 to deal with a knee injury and miss significant time. Daunte Culpepper, the No. 11 pick in 1999, became the first 19 years ago when he shredded his knee and missed the rest of the 2005 season. Teddy Bridgewater, the No. 32 pick in 2014, sustained a catastrophic knee injury in 2016 and missed almost two seasons.
Culpepper had the most single-season passing yards record before his 2005 injury amid a future full of promise as a three-time Pro Bowler. Bridgewater came off of a Pro Bowl season in 2015 and looked to take the next step with the new U.S. Bank Stadium opening at the time.

Neither quarterback returned to the field with the Vikings the same and eventually landed with different teams. Ironically, both had stints with two of the same teams, the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins, before their once-promising careers ended.
Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell and company want to flip that script with McCarthy, the No. 10 pick out of Michigan in this year’s NFL Draft. While O’Connell said he’s “crushed” over McCarthy’s injury, he sees better things ahead for the former Wolverine and national champion in the NFL.

Por conta do início das principais ligas europeias neste fim de semana, a decisão de Dorival e sua comissão técnica foi adiar o anúncio da lista definitiva e fazer uma convocação maior, de 30 a 40 nomes, para cumprir o prazo estipulado pela Fifa para que a liberação seja obrigatória. A partir desta lista larga, como a CBF chama, o treinador fará cortes para chegar aos 23.
