Serbia makes the biggest comeback in the history of Olympic basketball and goes to the semis
With just 13 minutes of play at the Bercy Arena, this Tuesday, Australia had advanced to its third consecutive Olympic semifinals in men's basketball.
NBA star point guard Patty Mills was making it rain in Paris, and a three-pointer from center Duop Reath took the Boomers' lead to 44-20 in the quarterfinals.
Serbia, however, did not surrender. Led by center Nikola Jokic, the traditional European team achieved the biggest comeback in the history of Olympic basketball, reacting from a 24-point deficit and defeating Australia 95-90, in overtime.
The Serbs are now waiting for the winner between the USA and Brazil to find out their opponent in the semi-final, scheduled for Thursday.
