Week 13 Results | 8W-15L-4P | -1.101 Units Loss

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

After a solid week 12 were variance was with my, the opposite happened in week 13 where I could not get a break combined with the fact that I missed out on some good opportunities if I would have been sharper on Sunday. It started out with the cup matches where I just should have stayed away as this round tends to be once where I have a bad track record. At least I did reduce my stakes which limited the damage as I lost all 5 bets that I took. These matches tend to have 1st League team who heavily rotate but still get massive handicaps against Lower league teams and 'hero calls' for some reason always get punished.

I didn't have any bet on Friday but went into Saturday with quite good hope as i had rather strong positions on all 3 matches. In the first one things just went against me an a loss should always have been half a win at least as a late goal for Stvv should always have counted and was also deserved. Club Brugge played a weak match but didn't get in trouble in the 1st half ending in a deserved half loss on the bet that I took. Then Mechelen has 1.7+ xg and it looked like they were ending the match with no goal until the late 1-1 came fully deserved based on the 2nd half at least pushing the biggest outright bet. Saturday kind of crushed my confidence going into Sunday and I always should have taken a way bigger bet on the Over in the Anderlecht match which I failed to do.

So overall a losing week and I continue to sit in a range where I'm down over the season but with nothing won or lost as I easily could go to the expected profit in a couple of weeks. It however continue to be the corners which are saving me from being down more.

So 4 pre-game bets last week which went 0W-1.5L-2.5P for an overall loss. These 38 bets so far very much run similar to the overall results I'm having over 582 bets this season.

Season 2024-2025 Personal Betting Chart

The season continues to be a struggle showing how difficult it can be at times to get ahead when betting the asian markets even when getting great odds on average. Last season around week 1 I was down nearly 8 units while I still managed to make profit in the end so being down -1.726 units isn't actually that bad and when looking at the bright side I'm doing a lot better compared to last season. However, the 2nd part of last year was only up which will also be hard to get again. I just continue to see things week by week and match by match trying to get as many good bets in as possible.
