Week 10 Results | 19W-39L-04P | -1.849 Units Loss

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

I went into week 10 actually with good confidence and not too held back to take quite some bets as there were plenty of matches. However, this resulted in -0.9 units each on the mid-week and Weekend matches good for a drop of -1.8 units in total. So after stair-stepping my way up over multiple weeks I pretty much took the elevator down again which is not what I had hoped for. Also it could have been worse if some of the corner bets didn't end up hitting so overall I can't even complain that much. Overall it was just not good enough and the good thing is that I generally still have kept my stakes rather low.

The Regular season is now 33% complete and last season at this point I was down much more not even reaching the low while still ending in profit at the end using lower stakes on the way up. So for now I would say all of this is still just the normal ups and downs of betting which remains a grind.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2024-2025

There were 5 bets I took with confidence last week pre-game of which only 1 won while 4 ended up as losers and 2 of thel for a change also had higher closing odds which isn't the best. this puts me back at -3 units on these but in the end there have only been 31 bets so it's no volume reference whatsoever.

Season 2024-2025 Personal Betting Chart

Another week with plenty of bets mainly because I had a lot of cover bets or positions where I cost-averaged my way in. maybe I need to try taking more bets with conviction again instead of being indecisive taking small stabs at it. This was the highest volume weeks so far and also the biggest losing week. It's also similar to a couple seasons ago where mainly the corner bets (which have lower limits) have performed really well. This can be variance as I also had seasons where it was the complete opposite. Anyway, I will take a 11-day break no and continue the grind afterwards as I still enjoy it very much and have enough reasons to believe the long-term results will be positive.
